Madonna Treats Lourdes to a $28,000 Birthday Party.
Madonna reportedly treated daughter Lourdes and her friends to a £14,000 spa break for her 11th birthday.The ‘Hung Up’ singer flew her eldest child and her closest friends first class from London to Los Angeles for a weekend of pampering at Santa Monica’s Shutters on the Beach Hotel.
A source said: “Madonna called ahead early in the week to make reservations for the spa. She wanted to make sure Lourdes got the VIP treatment. She organised manicures and pedicures with a special orange and camomile soak treatment.
“She also ordered foot massages and sea salt scrubs, facials done with cucumber, honey and milk and luxurious full-body massages with reflexology.
“The little girls loved being treated like princesses for the day and returned to their suite a few hours later, where they were served a high tea of cucumber sandwiches and sweet treats. There was also a wonderful birthday cake.”
Hotel staff admitted they were surprised by how pleasant the ‘Holiday’ singer was during her stay.
