JOHN LENNON LOCK UP FOR AUCTION

A lock of John Lennon’s hair is reportedly going up for auction next month. John’s hair was kept for decades by a hairdresser and is expected to sell between $4,000 - 6,000 which will be part of The Betty Glasgow Collection of Beatles and Film Memorabilia, auctioned in Worthing on December 12th. Betty Glasgow worked with The Beatles on the films a Hard Day’s Night and Help and has a note to accompany the lock of hair:

“To Betty, lots of love and hair from John Lennon x x.”

Betty says of working with the Fab Four:

“It was great fun working with the boys on the films. They were always together in a group and having a laugh. My job was to keep their hair in order as the film was made over three months, so their trademark, mop-top haircuts had to be regularly trimmed.”

That must’ve been amazing for her to work with all of them on a regular basis during the filming of those movies. I can’t believe she’s going to sell John’s hair!
