Tom Cruise the Ultimate Playboy? Lohan a Playboy Bunny?
There are rumors milling in the U.S. press that Tom Cruise may have signed on to undertake the film role of Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner, in an upcoming biopic. It’s not too much of a stretch to imagine Cruise cloaked in Hefner’s signature red and black pimp robe surrounded by gorgeous blonde bombshells. Cruise’s people haven’t confirmed whether or not he’s actually got the part. Early buzz about the lead role of Hefner suggested director Brett Ratner was eying Leonardo DiCaprio for the role, however no such announcement has been made.
There are also rumors that Lindsay Lohan may be cast as a Playboy Bunny in the forthcoming movie. Ratner told E! Entertainment at Hollywood Life’s 4th Annual Style Awards when asked about the possibility of this casting choice, “She’s very talented … if she’s sober. She would be great as a Playboy Bunny.” Brett Ratner doesn’t have a very reputable track record in the realm of directing successful projects so there’s a lot of speculation about how impressive this film may actually be.
