Britney Spears Sends HIMYM Ratings Soaring

Britney Spears’ return to television last night was a complete success. Not only for her, who proved to be really funny, charming and cute as a quirky love-struck receptionist on How I Met Your Mother, but for the show, as well.

Because of Brit’s well-hyped appearance, the ratings for last night’s show were the highest the sitcom has ever seen — getting the viewership it should be getting every week. HIMYM is always that funny and good — it wasn’t just because Britney was on.

If you haven’t been watching, start making it a habit. Neil Patrick Harris’ Barney is awesomely awesome in every episode, and what girl isn’t falling in love with main character Ted? Yes, I would love if Britney made a return appearance, but this girl would love it more if you kept watching her favorite show. And if you don’t, I might have to have my own Slapsgiving episode, starring you.
